Studio Policies
Tuition Installments

Tuition installments will be processed automatically to your card on file on the 26th of the month for the following month's lessons.

For example: your installment on July 26th will cover your August lessons.

Your first tuition installment may be lowered if you start after the first of the month.

If the studio is unable to process your payment on the due date for any reason a $30 late fee, will be added to account the account and due before lessons resume.

You may update your card on file anytime at http://confidentvoicestudio.com/card-update

Have a problem with your card or making your payment, just let us know by emailing, calling or texting us at help@confidentvoicestudio.com or 503-714-1198.

If your payment has not been made, no lessons will be delivered.

After 7 days with no communication from you and no payment, your membership may be cancelled.

Absences, Closures, Makeup Credits

Need to miss a class? No problem. If you cannot attend a lesson you may:
  • 1. Join your class online from home, vacation or where ever.
  • 2. Cancel your class with at least 24 hours notice and get a makeup credit to be used in any class in the future.

Makeup credits cannot be used for private lessons.

Makeup credits never expire as long as you are an enrolled studio member. Cancel in the client app calendar at http://confidentvoicestudio.com/login


You must cancel your lesson by emailing help@confidentvoicestudio.com or texting us at 503-714-1198, or in the client app calendar at http://confidentvoicestudio.com/login

If you do not notify us by email, call or text with at least 24 hours, no make credit will be given.

Can't give 24 hours notice?
No problem. Just be in touch and you can have an asynchronous lesson that week. Just record a video or audio performing your assigned pieces and send it to us, your teacher will provide you feedback to keep you moving forward. We must receive your recording 24 hours or more before your next class. 


If You're Going to Be Late
Please let us know if you're going to be late. You can email, text or call. If we haven't heard from you by 15 minutes after your class start time, we'll assume you're not attending and will leave the online or in-person studio.

We want to hear from you. Anytime. For Any reason. 

We communicate by email. We need you to read our emails.
We will try to not to send too many. The ones we send you will have important information. If you aren't receiving them or reading them we can't be held responsible for any events, member benefits you miss, or upcoming fees. 


Not getting our messages?
Check your spam folder and whitelist/approve our emails to have them go to right to your inbox.


If your teacher needs to cancel a lesson, we'll arrange for a guest teacher OR we'll apply a makeup credit to your account, We'll reach out to help you get it scheduled.

Studio closures are in the client app calendar at all times at http://confidentvoicestudio.com/login We recommend you add it to your own gmail, outlook or cell phone calendar.

Release of Liability
As the legal parent or guardian, I understand that my child's participation in music lessons or off site events with Confident Voice Studio may expose him/her to unforeseen risk of personal injury, death or property damage.  I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily allowing my child to participate in all lessons and events and agree to assume any such risks.

I hereby release, discharge and agree not to sue Confident Voice Studio, its wonders, directors, agents, faculty or employees for any injury, death or damage to or loss of personal property arising out of or in connection with my child's participation in any lessons or events from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of Confident Voice Studio owners, staff or any other participants of Confident Voice Studio.

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the School, I hereby agree, for my child, my heirs, administrators, executors and assigns, that I shall indemnify and hold harmless Confident Voice Studio from any and all claims, demands, actions or suits arising out of our in connection with my child's participation in any of the School's events.

I give Confident Voice Studio permission to authorize emergency medical personnel to carry out such emergency diagnostic and therapeutic procedure as may be necessary for my child, and also permit such treatment procedures to be carried out at, and by local hospitals for my child int he event of an emergency.  I understand that any medical expenses will be billed directly to me or my insurance company.

I agree to permit Confident Voice Studio star, agents and other guests to take photographs and/or video and audio recordings during School lessons and performance events without further recourse.  I understand that such photographic images, video, or audio recordings of my child may be used for commercial and/or promotional purposes.  I further understand that I may opt-out of this release with respect to photographs, videos and audio only by filing out and signing a Media Opt-Out form available by emailing the school at help@confidentvoicestudio.com.

I affirm that I have read, understand and agree to be bound by the term and conditions of this contract for music instruction through Confident Voice Studio.  I fully understand that failure to abide by this contact will result in termination of this agreement and membership in the school will be revoked immediate.  I understand that I can also review these policies any time online at http://confidentvoicestudio.com/client-care-guide

Terminating Your Membership

If you choose to end lessons, you may end your membership on or before the 20th of the month. An exit interview will be required. Schedule your exit interview on or before the 20th of the month to make the next month your last month.

For example, if you want October to be your last month, just let us know on or before September 20th.

There are no refunds.

You can expect a tuition installment for the final month and are required to pay this balance.

If you choose to not attend those final lessons, you may gift them to a friend, family member or coworker.

Makeup credits must be used before your final month starts.

Confident Voice Studio may end lessons with any client at any time.
